Abstract

This study aims to explain how the teacher implements the picture and pictures model in writing anecdotal texts for class X students of SMK Negeri 3 Boyolangu. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with observation techniques for ATP implementation and picture and pictures learning modules, observation of student activities based on the stages of the picture and pictures learning model, and documentation. Data sources include lesson plans and implementation processes applied by the teacher to students. class X SMK Negeri 3 Boyolangu as many as 38 students. The data obtained is in the form of how the teacher designs and implements learning to write anecdotal texts using the Picture and Pictures model. Based on the results of the research, the process of learning anecdotal texts using the picture and pictures model can be said to be successful because the learning that is applied is in accordance with the stages of the existing picture and pictures model, and makes an interesting learning model to increase student creativity.
