Abstract

Indonesian language learning that occurs in class VII SMPN 3 Pangkalan Kerinci currently still uses the old method which assumes that the teacher is a source of learning and tends to be monotonous so that what the teacher does is less creative and innovative, many students experience difficulties in working on questions Indonesian language questions so that the results of learning Indonesian are not optimal. To improve learning that occurs in the classroom is to act "Application of learning models". One of the learning models that can be applied is the Cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type. Improvement of learning is carried out in 2 cycles which are carried out only by simulation. It is hoped that after carrying out learning improvement simulations, it can be applied to real learning at school after this improvement simulation shows changes in a better direction.
