PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMAHAMI TEKS LAPORAN HASIL OBSERVASI MENGGUNAKAN METODE DISKUSI SISWA KELAS VIII

Abstract

One of the objectives of making a text report on the results of observations is to convey observed data in a systematic and factual manner. The data is also conveyed objectively to readers or listeners. The implementation of learning is an effort to improve the skills of understanding the text of the observation report using the discussion method for class VIII students of SMP PGRI 1 Pasir Sakti. Based on the results of the analysis of the learning cases, the problem that must be solved immediately is the low understanding of students. The purpose of improving this learning is to improve student learning outcomes with the skills to understand the text of the observation report using the discussion or group method. The results of the study showed that the implementation of learning was an effort to improve the skills of understanding the text of the observation report using the discussion method for class VIII students of SMP PGRI 1 Pasir Sakti. From cycles I and II there was an increase seen from the results of the students' learning tests. In cycle I, an average of 66.88 was obtained and in cycle II, an average of 75.55 was obtained.
