PANDANGAN DUNIA PENGARANG DALAM CERPEN PLANG UNTUK RUMAH DARMA KARYA SRININGSIH HUTOMO: KAJIAN STRUKTURALISME GENETIK

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structural elements and world views of the author of the short story Plang untuk Rumah Darma by Sriningsih Hutomo. This research is a sociology of literature research using the theory of genetic structuralism. The approach used is a qualitative approach. In this study using reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and library techniques. The results of the study explain that the structural elements of the short story Plang untuk Rumah Darma by Sriningsih Hutomo consist of intrinsic and extrinsic elements. The intrinsic elements of the short story Plang untuk Rumah Darma consist of characters, characterizations, settings, plot, themes, and points of view. The main characters of the short story are Fely and Darma, while the additional characters are Darma's father, Fely's father, Darma's husband, Latifah (Darma's child), and Darma's aunt. The extrinsic element of the short story Plang untuk Rumah Darma in this study is the connection between the experience background which describes the socio-cultural conditions in society. Sriningsih Hutomo's worldview in short story Plang untuk Rumah Darma is a view of humanism and existentialism.
