PENERAPAN METODE DISKUSI DENGAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA TENTANG MENULIS TEKS DESKRIPSI PADA SISWA KELAS VII MTS. MIFTAHUL ULUM JENGGRONG

Abstract

The problem discussed in this research is how to improve the learning outcomes of class VII students in the Indonesian language subject using the discussion method and media images. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of class VII students in the Indonesian language subject about writing essays using the discussion method and media images. The data source for this research is students of Class VII MTs. Miftahul Ulum Jenggrong with a total of 15 students. When the research was conducted in semester 1 of the 2021/2022 school year. The research was conducted for 2 cycles. The data collected is quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is data obtained from the results of formative tests in each cycle. While the qualitative data is in the form of observations in each learning cycle. The data obtained was then consulted with the success criteria to determine student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle were only 6 students (40) who scored above the KKM. In cycle I  it increased to 10 students (67%). In cycle II it increased to 15 students (100%). The conclusion from research on improving learning using the discussion method and media images can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in the Indonesian language subject.
