PENGGUNAAN BAHASA DALAM MASYARAKAT

Abstract

Differences in geographical conditions have separated society into groups consisting of various ethnic groups. The diversity of ethnic groups has given birth to cultural differences, including language and its variations. Social status, language situation, time, culture, and individual factors have also led to the emergence of language variations. Language and culture influence each other. In the use of language, it can be seen that there is a relationship between social structure and the way people use the language which can lead to the formation of linguistic behavior.
