Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes of class VII in the Indonesian language subject with Fables at MTs. Al-MADANI Tangerang Regency through the application of the STAD Cooperative method. Cooperative learning steps in principle consist of four stages, namely material explanation, group study, assessment, and team recognition. After the learning action was carried out using the STAD cooperative learning model and media images, it showed an increase in student learning outcomes which could be seen from the increase in learning completeness. The use of cooperative learning models in learning can improve students' ability to remember learning material. After the learning action was carried out using the cooperative learning model, it showed a change in students' attitudes in participating in the learning process so that they became more enthusiastic and happier.
