Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student activity in learning literary criticism and essay materials with google site media in grade XII MIPA students of Ma'arif NU 04 Kangkung Kendal High School for the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were class XII MIPA students of Ma'arif NU 04 Kangkung Kendal High School with a total of 28 students. In data collection, the method used is the observation method. The observation method is used to obtain data on student activity and interest in learning. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle 1 meeting. Each meeting consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The time for the first cycle is on April 13, 2022, while the second cycle is on April 21, 2022. Based on the results of the study, in Cycle 1 obtained 64% active student data with sufficient categories. Meanwhile, in cycle 2, 92% active student data was obtained with a high category. So from cycle 1 and cycle 2 there was an increase in student activeness of 28%. Thus, research can be concluded that Google Site media can increase student activeness in learning literary criticism and essay materials in grade XII MIPA students of Ma'arif NU 04 Kangkung Kendal High School for the 2021/2022 academic year.
