Abstract

In teaching and learning activities, the delivery of subject matter looks still monotonous, and the use of learning media is not carried out concretely so that student learning outcomes have not shown any mastery of the material. This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes Indonesian material for writing procedure texts using series image media. The series images used in this study are how to make tempeh, how to make pancakes, and procedures for complying with health protocols. This research was conducted at MTs Al-Ma'ruf Margodadi Tanggamus. The subjects of this study were 28 grade VII students. Data collection techniques in the form of written tests. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that learning Indonesian the material for writing procedure texts using series image media increased. From cycles 1 and II there has been an increase seen from the results of student learning tests. In cycle I obtained an average of 68.6 and in cycle II obtained an average of 88.16. The conclusion of this study is that the use of series images in procedural text materials can be used as an alternative in the list of the use of learning media in the classroom.
