Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to: describe the implementation of the PQ4R learning model in Indonesian subjects in reading comprehension 2). Know and describe the implementation of the PQ4R learning model in Indonesian subjects in Class VIII Junior High School August 17, 1945 Muncar. Research data obtained by interview, questionnaire, and observation techniques and are expected to be useful for educational institutions, educators and students. Pre-research results based on literature review say that Indonesia is in a reading emergency. For this reason, we as educators must find solutions to these problems. One solution is the use of appropriate methods in reading comprehension activities. Based on previous studies, it can be concluded that the PQ4R method can improve students' comprehension in reading so that the author developed the PQ4R method in learning reading comprehension in Junior High School.
