Developing 21st-century skills, especially creativity and problem solving, is a challenge in higher education. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of project-based learning (PjBL) in improving students' creativity in General Biology courses at the Biology Study Program at Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang. The research method follows the Research and Development flow, including data collection, product design, validation, and implementation. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL significantly improved students' creativity, with an average increase of 56.96% which is categorized as satisfactory. PjBL involves six stages of learning, from project design to final evaluation, which are designed to motivate students to find solutions to real problems, such as family nutrition and public health. This process also encourages collaboration, technology utilization, and the development of innovative products, such as nutrition booklets. Although the results of student products show great potential, there are still challenges in producing solutions that have a broad impact and are implementable. This study confirms that PjBL can improve students' creativity, motivation, and learning independence, while providing insights for educators and policy makers to integrate this innovative learning method in higher education.
