Abstrak

Education is an effort to prepare students for the future and the rapidly changing society,especially in terms of science and technology. Science is defined as the study of events occurring innature. Critical thinking is not merely about criticizing everything; rather, it involves being openminded and objective. It means analysing problems based on existing facts instead of biasedopinions, thereby building a comprehensive understanding of what is happening. The purpose of theresearch was to determine the learning outcomes of students using organic and inorganic waste mediaalongside critical and innovative thinking skills. Developing innovative skills and critical thinkingin students requires a structured and varied approach. The research method employed was R and D(Research and Development). The findings revealed that the response of third-grade students to theorganic and inorganic waste media was categorized as very good. The students were engaged andenthusiastic during the learning process, with an average pretest score of 53.6 and a posttest score of 89.1.The argument presented is that updating the teaching materials used in the learning process isan innovation aimed at perfecting or improving learning outcomes so that the delivered materialbecomes both engaging and enjoyable through the use of organic and inorganic waste media.
