This study aims to enhance students' cognitive abilities through the implementation of concentration-based learning activities on the topic of the structure and function of living organisms. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a cyclical design involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were eighth-grade students in a junior high school. Data were collected through cognitive tests, observations, and interviews. The results show that the application of concentration-based learning can improve students' cognitive abilities, particularly in understanding the concepts of the structure and function of living organisms. This is evidenced by an increase in the average cognitive test scores across cycles and the high level of student participation in the learning process. This study concludes that concentration-based learning activities are effective strategies for improving students' cognitive abilities in biology topics.
