Abstract

The transformation of education in the digital era demands new approaches in delivering character values, especially in Hindu religious education. The Catur Guru teachings—which include Guru Swadyaya, Guru Rupaka, Guru Pengajian, and Guru Wisesa—form the core of Hindu character education, emphasizing spiritual, moral, and social values. However, conventional teaching methods often fall short of addressing the needs of digital-native learners, particularly in urban areas like Tangerang. This study aims to explore the potential integration of deep learning technology in teaching Catur Guru at Pasraman Non Formal Kertajaya as an innovative strategy to strengthen value-based character education. This research employs a literature review combined with field observation to assess the learning needs and digital readiness of the pasraman. The analysis is conducted using a descriptive-qualitative approach to examine opportunities and challenges in implementing deep learning within a non-formal religious education setting. The findings suggest that deep learning holds significant potential in creating adaptive learning systems, personalizing the delivery of Catur Guru teachings, and providing automated feedback based on artificial intelligence. This integration bridges traditional values with modern technology, making religious learning more relevant, meaningful, and transformative. The study recommends the development of AI-based learning models in pasraman as an innovative form of Hindu education in the digital era
