PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MENULIS TEKS DESKRIPSI BERTEMA KULINER BLITAR UNTUK SISWA KELAS VII SMP/MTS

This research and development has three objectives. First, to produce teaching materials for writing descriptive texts on the theme of Blitar's culinary specialties that are interesting, contextual, and easy for students to understand. Second, to describe the feasibility of the teaching materials. Third, to describe the effectiveness of the teaching materials in learning to write descriptive texts. This research was conducted using the ADDIE model, which was adapted into four stages, namely (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, and (4) implementation. Research data was obtained through qualitative and quantitative approaches to provide a comprehensive picture of the product's quality. Based on the results of expert validation, these teaching materials obtained a feasibility level of 96% and were classified as very feasible. Furthermore, a trial involving 36 seventh-grade students showed a positive response of 94% and a significant improvement in learning outcomes with an N-Gain value of 0.80 in the high category. According to these findings, it can be said that the teaching material for writing descriptive texts on the theme of Blitar's culinary specialties is highly feasible and effective for use in seventh-grade Indonesian language learning in junior high schools.
