to formulate ef ective strategies in increasing sustainable food security while reducing poverty. This
research includes strengthening local agricultural capacity, diversifying farmers' sources of income, and
increasing access to markets and technology. The analysis method of this study uses a qualitative
descriptive method that studies the status of a group of people, objects, conditions, thoughts, or current
events. The results of this study show that the Indramayu Regency government has succeeded in
compiling and implementing many programs related to food security and poverty, but this still needs to be
further improved and there needs to be cooperation between the government, the private sector and the
community.
