Abstract

Company value is the market's perception of the company's success in improving shareholder welfare.
This research aims to analyze the influence of profitability and debt policy on company value in
transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023
period. Profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), while debt policy is measured using the Debt
to Equity Ratio (DER). This research method uses panel data with a quantitative approach and regression
analysis. The sample in this study was 14 companies taken using a purposive sampling method with 5
years of observation, so the number of observations in this study was 70 observations. The research
results show that profitability has a significant positive ef ect on company value, which shows that
increasing profitability can increase company value. Debt policy also has a positive and significant efect
on company value.
