Education is an important aspect for a person to ensure a better life in the future. Therefore, students who have studied at the secondary level need to prepare themselves for higher educa-tion. Several aspects that influence choosing a college are the student's academic abilities (X1) and the school environment (X2). The aim of this research is to identify a structural equation model between these variables on students' interest in choosing a state university (Y). The data used came from respondents' answers from 191 Kefamenanu Catholic Vocational School Class XII students. The method used to solve this problem is using an inferential statistical approach starting from measurement models, structural models and overall models. The results obtained show that in the measurement model the factor loading, and Cronbach Alpha values meet the criteria of greater than 0.7, the structural model shows that the path coefficient p-value is <0.05, and the overall model gives TLI and CFI values > 0.90 and RMSEA < 0.5. The structural equation model obtained is Y = 0.85X1 + 0.93X2 with an R-Square value of 0.858 for the indirect relationship between X2 and X1 and 0.720 for the direct relationship between X1 and Y.
