Abstract

The Salted Egg Making Community in Pontang District, Serang Regency is a superior commodity in the region, the abundance of salted egg staples can make it easier to produce and meet the demand for salted eggs, but the low selling value and access to capital from banking institutions caused by the inability of partners to prepare their financial statements, so it becomes an obstacle for partners in developing their business. Therefore, the Open University, as part of its community service programme, conducts training and mentoring activities to improve the financial health of salted egg MSME entrepreneurs in the salted egg community in Pontang District, Serang Regency. The result of this activity is that the partner group, in this case the salted egg producers in Pontang sub-district, already understand the importance of preparing SAK ETAP-based financial reports and practising them in their business activities in order to have easy access to capital in banking institution.
