PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PEMBUATAN SIRUP BUAH JERUK LIMAU DESA PAKU ALAM KABUPATEN BANJAR

This community service activity was conducted in Paku Alam Village, Banjar Regency, with the aim of introducing the process of making syrup from oranges as an effort to utilize local resources and increase the added value of agricultural products. Oranges were chosen as they are a prominent commodity in the area, yet their harvest is often not optimally utilized. This activity involved practical training for the community in the process of making orange syrup, starting from fruit selection, juice extraction, the addition of natural preservatives, to product packaging. Evaluation was conducted through taste tests, product quality assessments, and feedback from participants. The results showed that participants were able to understand and apply the techniques for making orange syrup effectively. It is hoped that this activity can create new business opportunities for the local community and boost the village economy through agricultural product diversification.
