Abstract

In today's digital era, social media has become an effective tool for promoting tourist destinations. This community service activity aims to enhance Siallagan Village's competitiveness as a tourist destination by developing the community's capacity to utilize social media. Creative design training using Canva is focused on creating attractive and informative visual content to promote local tourism potential. The Community Service Team provided creative design training using the Canva application to the people of Siallagan Village. This training aims to improve the community's ability to create attractive visual content to promote the village's tourism potential through social media. The methods used are direct training, practice, and mentoring. Evaluation results show a significant improvement in participants' ability to design attractive visual content relevant to the target market. Thus, it is expected to increase Siallagan Village's visibility in the digital world, attract tourists, and ultimately contribute to improving the community's economy. The expected outcome of this activity is an increase in the number of tourist visits and an improvement in the quality of the village's social media content.
