Abstract

Siallangan Pindaraya Village is a Batak traditional village built on the site of a former kingdom, featuring various tourist attractions such as a row of Bolon houses, a Sigale-gale statue, the Persidangan stone chair, Parulubalangan, the Sira Stone Chair, the Swearing Statue with Frog and Horbo Stone in Huta Sipalakka, and the Toba Lake Legend Tourist Park. There are still many more tourist attractions to be found in Siallangan Pindaraya Village. The purpose of developing the village as a tourist destination is to attract more tourists and promote tourism to improve the local economy. The Community Service Team has tried to help solve the problems faced by the partners. The main objective of this Community Service (PkM) is to provide training to increase digital literacy for Karang Taruna youth and the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) of Siallangan Pindaraya Village, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. There are several stages carried out by the Community Service Team, including: increasing understanding of digital literacy, training in creating digital content, implementing the results of training for tourism management, and periodic evaluation of digital literacy in Siallangan Pindaraya Village. It is expected that the activities carried out can improve the digital literacy competence of Karang Taruna youth and the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), thus increasing the number of tourists visiting Siallangan Pindaraya Village, which will have an impact on improving the economy of the community in the area.
