Abstract

Abstract

Digital literacy is the use of technology to find, analyze, create, and transmit information. Based on the experience of several countries, the use of information technology has become one of the drivers of economic development, especially in rural areas. The use of ICT is considered effective in reducing the migration of people from villages to cities and increasing the number of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within villages. The presence of MSMEs itself can support the development of tourism in villages. Matungaleng village is one of the villages with interesting tourism potential in the Burukumba he Regency region. Covering an area of 210 hectares, the village is strategically located and has great tourism potential. One of the tourism concepts being developed in Matungaleng Village is a nature tourism concept with an Instagrammable park. Later, a swimming pool and fishing area were added. This PKM activity was held to solve problems related to increasing digital literacy capacity to improve MSMEs in aspects of digital marketing communication strategies so that they can contribute to the development of tourism villages. This activity was held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Mattungaleng Village Hall. The target audience for this activity is his MSMEs in Matungaleng village, numbering ±30 people engaged in different types of businesses. The training will be conducted in the form of counseling (lectures), tutorials, and interactive discussions.
