Abstract

The background of the students in this class is because students are just starting to adapt with changes in teaching and learning activities, the interaction between students and teachers is felt to have changed from distance learning activities, fifty percent offline to one hundred percent learning activities in schools with an implementation time of around eight hours a day. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the Project Based Learning method based on biology practicum. CAR is carried out in 2 cycles. The results of research conducted in cycle I and cycle II showed an increase in learning outcomes through the PjBL method based on biology practicum by 12.2%. In cycle I, student learning outcomes through psychomotor domain assessment were quite high, 87.8% of students scored ≥ KKM. Based on comparative data, the percentage of skill assessment achievement obtained by all assessment components increased. In the first cycle the average skill score was 77.9% and in the second cycle the skill score average was 93.6%. Higher order thinking skills are clearly proven by the questions in each presentation session that link the basic concepts of growth and development of living things with the results obtained from the observation process carried out.
